CHANGING THE NARRATIVE AROUND HUMAN-BEAR CONFLICTS

The first workshop took place in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories in 1987. Since then, human-bear conflict specialists and community organizers have come together four more times to share their experiences and successes.

The official summaries available for the three most recent workshops provide a wealth of information and insight into programs and tactics being used in North America and around the world to better understand, manage and reduce human-bear conflicts.
